About This Role
We run events for CFOs and finance leaders across the US. The work is fast, detail-intensive, and spans months of coordination for a single day on the ground.
As our Field Marketing and Events Intern, you'll own the operational engine behind each event: research, vendor coordination, outreach, project tracking, and post-event reporting. You'll work directly with the field marketing team and interact with external partners, sponsors, and vendors from week one.
If something is falling through the cracks, that's on you to catch. Proactively, not after the fact.
What You'll Own
Event Research and Intelligence
- Research venues, vendors, attendee profiles, and comparable events in the market.
- Build structured research outputs the team can act on: venue comparisons, speaker shortlists, attendee ICP analysis, and competitive event benchmarks.
- You're the reason we walk into every planning cycle already knowing what we need to know.
Vendor and Sponsor Coordination
- Own the logistics thread across vendors (AV, catering, venue ops, printing) and event sponsors.
- Draft and send coordination emails, track deliverables, follow up without being asked, and flag risks early.
- You're the operational point of contact the team relies on to keep external parties moving.
Outreach and Email Operations
- Draft and send outreach sequences for partner prospecting, speaker invitations, attendee communications, and post-event follow-ups.
- You'll work with templates and build new ones as needed. Volume is real; quality matters more.
Project Management and Reporting
- Maintain the event project tracker across all open workstreams: timelines, task ownership, vendor status, budget line items, and deadlines.
- Build post-event reports covering attendance, engagement, pipeline sourced, and key learnings.
- The team should always know where things stand without having to ask you.
Automation and Workflow Ops
- Build lightweight automations to eliminate repetitive coordination work: email follow-up sequences, tracker updates, research pipelines, and status digests.
- We use Claude and other AI tools heavily. You'll be expected to build with them, not just use them.
Key Qualifications
- Extremely organized, you track things, close loops, and follow up without being asked
- Strong written communication, your emails are clear, professional, and get responses
- Comfort with spreadsheets and structured trackers; this is your primary workspace
- Hands-on familiarity with any project management tool (Notion, Airtable, ClickUp, or similar)
- Willingness to own external-facing communication with vendors and partners
- Fluent with AI tools and willing to build workflows with them from scratch
- Available for US-overlap hours when events and sponsor coordination require it
Bonus Points
- Prior event coordination, marketing ops, or logistics experience
- Exposure to HubSpot, Clay, or any CRM/outreach tool
- Built a workflow, bot, or automation previously using Zapier, Make, or similar
- Attended or volunteered at B2B events or conferences
Compensation
Fixed: ₹10,000–20,000/month
